We offer modalities for the care of your face and neck. These include facial acupuncture for general lifting (sometimes called an acupuncture face lift), microneedling, nanoneedling, colored light rejuvenation, and frequency specific microcurrent for the face.

The Practitioner
Dr. Diane Milhan is a licensed acupuncturist in the State of North Carolina. She has graduated with a doctorate in acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine with a concentration in Women's Health. She has studied with many of the leading facial acupuncture and micro-needling teachers including Josh Neuremberg, Mary Elizabeth Wakefield, Virginia Doran, and Michelle Gellis. She has been cerified by AcuMicro for the use of their microneedling pen. Her goal is to provide alternative medical care that will reverse and prevent disease using the fundamental healing principles of mind-body medicine .
Light Therapy for the Face
Our AcuLight enables us to chose the best color for your skin and face. Blue light at 423nm is best for cleaning the skin by destroying bacteria, activating cell metabolism and inhibiting sebaceous gland secretion. Yellow light at 583nm promotes microcirculation and lymph drainage. Red light at 640nm penetrates the deepest to help regenerate new skin cells. Red light also improves the oxygenation of the blood in the face and is used by practitioners to increase the collagen levels especially before and after microneedling. Our clients may of course to have all of the lights, blue, yellow and red used simyultaneously.

Micro Needling an Nano Needling
Micro-needling is a simple, safe, effective, and minimally invasive therapeutic technique for facial rejuvenation. Also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, micro-needling is used to treat the appearance of fine lines, scars, and wrinkles by stimulation collagen and elastin production in the skin. Micro-needling creates highly controlled micro injuies in the epidemal or dermal layers of your skin. The process stimulates the skin's natural healing processes and increases the cell turnover to create firmer texture, reduced pore and wrinkle size.
Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation (Face Lift)
Facial acupuncture uses traditional Chinese medicine to place fine needles at specific points in the face with the intent to increase blood flow and lymphatic flow and reduce the overall signs of aging. The process is non-surgical, relatively pain free method to improve muscle tone, cause dermal contraction, and increase collagen production. This procedure can be used to decrease puffy and droopy eyelids, inflammation on the face, and reduce a double or saggy chin and jowls.
AcuLight PRO Therapy
The AcuLight Pro has 1226 LED lights to improve the appearance and health of the skin by improving skin laxity and promoting collagen production. The AcuLight PRO is used the support the improvement of fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, sun damaged and dull skin. Application of the AcuLight PRO accompanied most of the treatments that are offered but is available as a stand alone treatment.
